    I am so sleepy!

If you think you want to sleep and someone comes to disturb you, what do you do?
See below how this taxi diriver deals with it.

A taxi driver parked his car on the roadside, thinking of sleeping for a while. He just laid down and someone came to ask him about the time. Looking at his watch, he said: “Almost 12 noon.” Again when he was about to go to sleep, someone knocked on the window and asked: “Mister, do you know what time it is?” Again he looked at his watched and said: “12:30″

There were so many people knocking on the window so that he could not go to sleep. So he wrote on a piece of paper and stuck it on the window which said:” I don’t know the time! I am so sleepy! Then the driver laid down again. After a few minutes, someone knocked on the window and said: “Hey, sir, now it is a quarter to one.”

    1. Hi ΒωωνΚυαν,
Thanks for your translation. I think you have all the meaning translate correct. 🙂

    I am very tired,

If you, while you just want to go to sleep, are disturbed what will you do?
    Look what this cabdriver did.
A cabdriver took his car and parked it along the side of the road, so he could
sleep a little. Just when he was about to lie down, a passerby asked him what
time it was, “He looked on his watch and said – almost 12 o’clock”.
He almost fell asleep when again a passerby nocked on his window “sir do you
know what time it is?” he asked. He was forced to again look on his watch,
“12.30 he answered”. But (since) many people nocked on his window,
he couldn’t sleep at all. So he wrote something on a piece of paper and
pasted it on the window of is car, the note said “I don’t know what time it is!.
I am very tiered!” A couple hours later, again someone nocked on his window,
“Hello sir, it is now a quarter to one in the afternoon”

    To ΒωωνΚυαν:
看看一下 doesn’t mean look below but have a look (for a little while) or have a quick look (kijk even in my language)

    我看到这首谚语.
    我把它给它翻译成英文.
    我的翻译好不好?

    ================
    人生一连串的奋斗
    追求理想有奋战不懈
    坚持到底有恒则成

Live is a chain of struggles
to seek (your) ideal (you have to) fight bravely
(and) not waver (to) persist till the end
    to achieve unchangeable success
    ==================================

    还有别的一个问题,尤其比特别的意思一样不一样?
    谢谢

    万事如意

    路蓝克

    1. Hi 路蓝克,

Live is a series of struggles.
追求理想 – pursuit of your dreams
有奋战不懈 – (I am not sure why there is a “有” in front) work strenuously and unremittingly.
      (不懈 : untiring; unremitting; indefatigable)
坚持到底 – persist till the end
有恒则成 – (what you translate is :to achieve unchangeable success; which not that correct)
With perseverance you will succeed.

My English is not very good. So based on the my translation, maybe you can write them in proper English. 🙂
