In sentence three, I don’t think the word should be powder.
Hi Richard,
I have checked dictionary.cambridge.org.
powder = fallen snow that is loose and dry and has not begun to melt.
For sentence #3, 雪深的地方 is a place with “deep snow”. And I think “deep snow” is almost the same as “deep powder” based on the definition of dictionary.
Or should I translate it to “I love skiing in deep snow” ?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks.
风筝’s hanyu pinyin is wrong: fēngdù.
Hi Richard,
Yes, it is wrong. I have corrected it. It should be fēng zhēng.
Thanks.
